Classes

At Arcadia School Lavington, we tailor our learning approach to suit each stage of early childhood development. Our classes provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children grow at their own pace, supported by dedicated educators and a play-based curriculum that fosters curiosity, confidence, and creativity.

Baby Care

For infants and toddlers, we focus on early sensory development, motor skills, and social interaction through play, music, and storytelling.

Playgroup

Picking up from the baby care stage, we add basic motor skills (such as colouring, self-feeding and writing skills) and basic communication skills (speaking and listening) to the learning experience.

Reception

Reception bridges the gap between Playgroup and formal Pre-Primary learning. Focus areas include
early language and number awareness, listening and expression, simple routines, and classroom behaviour.

PP1

Here, we further implement early literacy (alphabet & phonics) and early numeracy (number recognition & basic counting). We also focus on social and emotional development using a range of physical and co-curricular activities such as simple arts and music.

PP2

We continue to build on the children’s reading, writing and mathematics skills and add onto their creative activities and life skills as they prepare to transition into Grade 1.
